Taylor has been a practicing physical therapist since 2006. She began her career in a subacute pediatric facility and then transitioned to the world of outpatient orthopedics. She has completed all course work for the 'Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist' (COMT) qualified. She recently moved to the island with her husband, an Army dietician at TAMC, from Virginia where she had been the clinical director of an outpatient practice for the past year. Taylor is an outdoors enthusiast and enjoys hiking, kayaking and camping with her husband and dog.

Mike Schirf, DPT

Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Michael earned his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in Florida. Prior to becoming a physical therapist he was a licensed massage therapist. Michael is currently participating in his post-doctoral residency at Orthosport Hawaii to become an orthopaedic specialist. When not working Michael enjoys spending time outdoors exploring, hiking, biking, and learning to surf.

Nick Bronowski, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist 

Nick received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Diego, CA in 2012. He has a strong sports and orthopedic background with a history of being a tri-sport athlete in high school as well as playing college baseball. Prior to college athletics, Nick recovered from ACL reconstruction with full return to athletic activity. He has experience with neurological rehabilitation and aquatic therapy and enjoys all sporting activities to include surfing, paddling, golfing and hiking. Nick is continually researching new advancements in treatment and has aspirations to become an Orthopedic Certified Specialist.

Jill received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the  University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA in 2010. She is currently pursuing manual therapy certification through a  4 year program with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual therapy.  She has also worked for over a decade as a Hawaii Licensed Massage Therapist and Fully Certified STOTT Pilates instructor on Oahu and Hawai'i island.  In addition to teaching all levels of mat and equipment Pilates,  she has over 25 years  experience practicing martial arts and currently studies Tai chi and Qigong .  She enjoys participating in a variety of swim, bike, run and triathlon events, hiking, ocean sports, and traveling.

William (Will) Conkright was born May 11, 1984 in Owensboro, KY.  He grew up in Kentucky and attended Western University Kentucky.  He graduated in 2008 as a Distinguished Military Cadet and Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science, and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Medical Specialist Corps.  He then attended the Military-Baylor Graduate Program in Nutrition in San Antonio, TX. He graduated in 2010 as a Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science degree in Nutrition. He completed his internship in nutrition at Madigan Army Medical Center in 2010.  He is a nationally accredited Registered Dietitian.


 Will is married to Orthosport Therapist Taylor Waters of Front Royal, VA.  They have a German Shepherd, Charlie, whom they love like their child.

Liz was born on the island of O'ahu and raised in Manoa valley. She graduated from Maryknoll High school, and attended Kap'iolani Community College massage therapy program, graduating in 2005. Then licensed in 2005, and has had 10 years of experience with all types of massage.  She has worked in spa settings using techniques varying from Swedish to Sports massage. Her experience with medical massage has helped clients with specific injuries and/or regional pain.

 

Liz is the adventurous sort and enjoys hiking, backpacking, outdoor activities and most of all watching her teenage daughter excel in sports and life. Liz also makes time to volunteer as a coach with MGAC (Manoa Girls' Athletic Club). She also volunteers at Waimea Valley, Haleiwa, with ridge restoration, weeding invasive plants and replanting native plants with Hi'ipaka LLC.

He enjoys helping people and will be happy to assist in any way possible to insure that your time at our clinic is seamless from start to finish. He takes great care to see that all of our clients are comfortable, and will assist you with any insurance authorization issues and scheduling needs. David graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a degree in Travel Industry Management. He has taken his experience in the tourism industry and applied it to helping people in a health care environment.

Maile grew up in Honolulu. She is a mother of two active boys, and a supportive wife to an active husband. She enjoys competitive tennis, and has been soccer coach to both of her boys while also supporting the many other activities that her children participate in. She is also frighteningly good at Scrabble!  

 

Maile earned her doctoral degree in Experimental Neuropsychology from Colorado State University. She enjoyed many years teaching at the university level and working in the field of cognitive rehabilitation before devoting herself to motherhood. She now puts her skills to use as the day to day manager of all things office related. She enjoys helping people immensely, and will be happy to assist in any way possible to insure that you are comfortable and at ease with any billing or account concerns.
